וַיָּ֣קָם ׀ וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ צָרְפַ֗תָה וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־פֶּ֣תַח הָעִ֔יר וְהִנֵּֽה־שָׁ֛ם אִשָּׁ֥ה אַלְמָנָ֖ה מְקֹשֶׁ֣שֶׁת עֵצִ֑ים וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר קְחִי־נָ֨א לִ֧י מְעַט־מַ֛יִם בַּכְּלִ֖י וְאֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃
Also machte er sich auf und ging nach Zarephath. und als er zum Stadttor kam, siehe, eine Witwe war dort und sammelte Stöcke; und er rief zu ihr und sprach:'Hol mich, ich bitte dich, ein wenig Wasser in einem Gefäß, damit ich trinke.'
